Inspection

Fast, complete and independent service to ensure your safety.

Any company or industry that use substances (flammable liquids, gases or dusts) which can form explosive mixtures and therefore can create potentially dangerous areas, shall have the classification of hazardous area and the explosion protection document (ATEX 1999/92/EC).

The purpose of the areas classification is to provide an objective and realistic assessment of the hazardous areas and their extension (zoning), concerning the specific substances, the amount, the type of process, the sources of release and the ventilation (degree and effectiveness).

The areas classification is mandatory for the selection of the equipment and installation of the safety systems.

The explosion protection document must include the assessment of all explosion risk, the technical and organizational procedures and prevention and protection measures to be applied.

In potentially explosive atmosphere, the electrical installations must be designed and made with equipment Ex approved in order to be suitable for such environments. The integrity and security of the components must mandatorily be maintained throughout the entire life of the plant.

These installations require mandatory periodic inspections to verify the safety of the installation, the status of components and the provision of maintenance plans

In this scope, Atex Safety Service provides a fast, complete and independent service, with summary reports including all corrective actions necessary to guarantee and/or to improve workplace safety according to the required standards.
